Planning to Serve You!
Updated: May 7
Serving our customers is key during this unprecedented time, and we have been thinking about how to handle potential inventory shortages. Just like we plan over a year in advance where and what our livestock are going to eat, we think it is only right to consider what you’re going to eat!
We truly appreciate our customers and their trust in us. We view it as a partnership that has allowed us to be successful. We do appreciate new customers who are finding us by searching the internet since their normal grocery store shelves might not be fully stocked. However, we want to serve those who have partnered with us and helped us from the beginning.
Since we are a small farm and have limited on hand inventory, we felt we should have a plan in place and let everyone know how we intend to serve our customers. Here is our plan going forward as our inventory begins to get low.
Phase 1 (Extended Family & Friends): Allow orders to customers and their referrals only. No new internet search based customers.
Phase 2 (Extended Family): Allow orders to customers only
Phase 3 (Family): Allow orders to Pre-2020 customers
Phase 4: Pre-order for Pre-2020 customers.
It is important to note that we will not accept orders that appear to be food hoarding. We do not believe there is a need to be panicked about getting food from us. We came into the year with additional inventory anticipating significant growth. We have our processing dates lined up through January 2021 and have increased our livestock numbers to “meat” the demand.
We all saw what happened with toilet paper, and I want you to know exactly how we plan to handle taking care of our customers who have allowed us to get to where we are today. It’s the type of transparency you would expect for us to have.
I still believe the fear of the virus has had a greater impact on us than the virus itself, so far. We will do everything we can to keep your family fed safe, nutrient dense, and regeneratively raised proteins.
Thank you so much for your trust in us to do the right thing, both with the food that we raise and in being there for our customers. If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to email me email@example.com.
