As we head into the winter season and spend less time out in the fresh air and sunshine it's really important to feed our bodies good stuff in the fight to stay healthy. Give your body the clean nutrition it craves and it will take care of the rest.



Here's a quick way to make a homemade healthy, no sodium, chicken broth that's ready to add to your recipes. Anytime fresh ingredients are used in recipes it takes your meal to the next level. But you don't have to stand over the stove all day to make a great broth!

Crock Pot Chicken Stock

2 1/2 lb Grateful Graze Chicken Backs

6 cups Water

1 Onion - quartered

2 Carrots - large chop

2 Celery stocks - large chop

1 TB Basil - dried

Cook on low for 8 - 10 hours. Strain vegetables, chicken and bone. Store in refrigerator or freeze.
