DON'T be a chicken! DO try this easy and quick craft that only requires three steps and takes ten minutes to create. Plus, you can recycle your used toilet paper rolls-I think everyone should have enough of them!
Materials: glue, scissors, one used toilet paper roll, orange paper, and yellow paper and feathers, two googly eyes (if you do not have, can substitute with white and black beads, paper, etc.)
Directions: First, cut up the yellow paper into small squares and rectangles. Then, glue the small yellow squares and rectangles and feathers onto the used toilet paper roll, distributing them evenly all over the roll.
Next, cut the orange paper into three small triangles, and then, glue one of the triangles below the eyes and the other two triangles near the bottom of the roll.
Finally, glue on both eyes near the top ⅓ of the role. There you have it, your own Grateful Graze pastured chicken!
Fun Facts about Chickens: 1. There are about 25 billion chickens in the world. 2. Chickens can remember about 100 different faces of people or animals. 3. The most eggs a chicken has laid in in one day is seven.
