By preparing your own mixes, you can control the salt, gluten and MSG that is commonly found in spices like this.
1/4 cup dried onion flakes
2 Tbsp low-sodium beef bouillon granules (check label for gluten if you are intolerant)
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp parsley flakes
1/8 tsp celery seed
1/8 tsp paprika
1/8 tsp ground black pepper
Directions: Combine all ingredients together. This is equal to one packet of onion soup mix.
You can then use this in the gravy for Cubed Steak with Onion Gravy and your other favorite recipes!
